The Role
An exciting new opportunity exists for an exceptional internal candidate to fill the newly created role of Business Development Executive. Based at our Liverpool office at Moorgate Point, Kirkby, this role will involve working closely with the Sales and CRM team, on all aspects relating to the acquisition and retention of clients. With particular focus on prospecting and marketing to help the business achieve its significant growth ambitions.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Work closely with the SVP, Market Development, Europe & Asia and the wider Senior Management Team to support and contribute to the organisation’s priorities, mission, vision, and core values aimed at increasing Ardent\'s position in the market
* Identify profitable business opportunities and key stakeholders across a variety of sectors, typically targeting the UK market.
* Work closely with the SVP, Market Development, Europe & Asia to engage direct with key opportunities and work towards contributing during board level presentations
* Must be the consummate professional at all times, representing the company during meetings and at corporate events
* Possess Excellent presentation skills, real tenacity and a will to win.
Required Education / Experience
* Three or more years in a business development role within a debt collection agency or similar.
* Regulation and credit industry best practice, knowledge of debt collection industry
* Possess the ability to build and maintain good internal/external relations
* Ability to interface with client relationships of all levels both internally and externally with the utmost professionalism
* Cope with working under pressure and to deadlines
