Overview
Working in our Children’s Homes means being part of a young person’s day‑to‑day life. As a Deputy Manager you will help create an environment where staff and young people feel secure, safe and motivated, supporting them through the highest highs and lowest lows and celebrating the small moments that feel like huge victories.
Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. We provide a holistic service that touches on every aspect of their development, working closely with psychologists, occupational therapists and other clinical team members to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the management of daily operations in the home, ensuring it operates to our high standards.
* Support the whole team and foster a culture of safety, security and motivation for both staff and residents.
* Maintain effective communication with external professionals (e.g., psychologists, occupational therapists) to ensure a joined‑up service.
* Help young people regain their childhood and develop pathways to become well‑rounded adults.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, including supervisory experience.
* Level 3 Diploma qualification in Residential Childcare (England).
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is desirable.
* Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.

* Salary: Base salary of £41,341 – £47,919.
