The Opportunity
We are partnering with a fast-growing international professional services business to appoint a commercially focused Finance Business Partner.
Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the business delivers complex workforce and professional services solutions within a highly people-led and time-billing-driven environment. As part of an evolving finance function, this role will play a key part in delivering strategic financial insight, commercial analysis, and operational support to senior leadership.
This is a fully remote position; however applicants must be based in the UK and have prior experience working successfully within either a fully remote or predominantly home-based role.
The Role
Reporting directly into senior finance leadership, the Finance Business Partner will operate as a true commercial partner to the business, supporting budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and financial performance reporting across multiple operational areas.
This role has no transactional finance responsibility and instead focuses on delivering meaningful commercial insight, improving decision-making, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage budgets and rolling forecasts
* Deliver revenue, gross profit, and margin analysis
* Analyse key financial drivers including client profitability, operational costs, and FX exposure
* Produce high-quality financial reporting and commercial insight for senior stakeholders
* Support customer service and operational teams with complex client financial queries
* Partner closely with senior leadership to support strategic planning and business performance
* Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through financial analysis
* Support ongoing process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded qualified accountant with strong business partnering capability and experience operating within complex, service-led environments.
Essential Experience
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
* Previous experience within:
* Professional services
* Staffing / recruitment
* EOR / workforce solutions
* Consultancy-led organisations
* Complex time-billing environments
* Strong budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis experience
* Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders across operational businesses
* Strong understanding of margin analysis and profitability reporting within people-led businesses
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Advanced Excel and financial systems capability
Additional Requirements
* Must be UK based
* Must have prior experience working within a fully remote or predominantly home-based role
* Comfortable operating autonomously within a fast-paced and evolving environment
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight
