Secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Bristol (BS11)

* Start ASAP and ongoing in September
* £95 - £120 per day, depending on experience
* Full-time, Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm
* Term time only
* Accessible by bus 3 / 4 / 11 / 41 or free parking on site
A secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be expected to
* Work closely with classroom teachers to support the teaching, learning, and assessment of individual students or groups.
* Ensure the students carry out curriculum tasks set.
* Carry out intervention tasks to support students lacking confidence
* Support student participation, behaviour, and engagement
* Promote the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities to ensure equal and fair learning opportunities.
What we look for in a Secondary Higher Level Teaching Assistant
* Hold HLTA status or have extensive previous teaching assistance experience
* Be capable of preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals, smalls groups or the class as a whole.
* Experience of strong behaviour management within the classroom
* A passion for working with children, particularly those with special educational needs - ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
