This is a stand alone role in finance, office based. Our client value a straightforward, honest approach and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service every day. Reporting to the Director and an external Accountant, the Bookkeeper will work in a stand alone role and will be solely responsible for the day to day accounting function for three companies in the group. This is a full time role, office based and the hours of work are flexible between 7am and 6pm. Day-to-day of the role: Working in a stand-alone role providing day-to-day support to the Director to ensure efficient and timely operations Management of the accounts to Trial Balance stage Post purchase ledger invoices and prepare payments Bank reconciliation Handle the posting and payment of sales ledger invoices Prepare various financial information and reports Management of cashflow Perform general administrative tasks as needed Required Skills & Qualifications: Confidence and ability to manage the accounts to Trial Balance in a stand-alone role Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work Resilient and flexible, with a positive, can-do attitude Strong reporting experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with Xero software would be ideal If you have the required experience and ability to work in a stand-alone role, and are looking for stability with a successful and expanding company, please get in touch with Lizzy Lyons on and email an up to date cv Skills: Xero MS Excel stand alone bookkeeping Trial Balance
