Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload of pre-litigated RTA claims from instruction to settlement. Conduct early liability investigations, reviewing police reports, statements, dash-cam footage, and insurer evidence. Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients on liability, process, and next steps. Liaise with insurers, third parties, repair networks, medical agencies, and internal teams to progress claims. Draft and submit key documentation including CNFs, settlement packs, and liability challenges. Negotiate settlements within authority levels, ensuring fair and commercially sound outcomes. Identify cases requiring escalation to litigation and prepare files for handover. Maintain accurate file management, time recording, and MI updates. Ensure all work complies with SRA standards, internal policies, and client SLAs. Contribute to continuous improvement within the RTA team, sharing insights and best practice. Experience & Skills: Previous experience of managing your own caseload of Fast Track RTA claims, or hands on experience of managing tasks relating to such cases Excellent negotiator with strong communication skills Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office Good attention to detail and organisational skills Focus on delivering quality service to clients and the firm
