Duties
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely.
* Carry out bricklaying and masonry work to construct or repair structures according to specifications.
* Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, fitting, and finishing work on various building projects.
* Assist with roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance to ensure weatherproofing and structural integrity.
* Conduct welding operations where necessary, adhering to safety standards and technical requirements.
* Read technical drawings and blueprints to accurately interpret project plans.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring all tools and materials are stored securely after use.
Requirements
* Proven experience in masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding or related construction trades.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to the trade.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations within the construction industry.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Physical fitness to perform manual labour over extended periods and in various weather conditions.
