Hatton wastewater treatment plant provides a very good example of the workings of a modern wastewater treatment plant in a climate of increasing environmental demands. Veolia will help you to develop your practical skills and knowledge required for you to succeed in this role as well as your future career. You will gain exposure to a range of experience. You will carry out tasks daily to support the team and keep them up to date with daily tasks. What will you be doing? - Carry out and report on a range of activities in line with established standard operating procedures. - Monitor, test and analyse service performance and compliance with regulatory and business standards. - Ensure equipment and resources are used, maintained and replaced appropriately to meet business standards. - Carry out a range of routine activities in line with quality standards to ensure the smooth running of the overall process on a day to day basis - Adhere to Health and Safety procedures in order to ensure the safety of self and others on-site. - Work to company guidelines, including incident avoidance plans, to minimise business risk. - Ensure that the Client's concerns and issues are dealt with or relayed promptly so as to ensure the smooth running of the overall contract. - Draw samples and test as required ensuring the optimal running of the plant and equipment. - Record and document all process information and analysis results. What are we looking for? - A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include Maths, English and Science. - A Full UK driving licence (desirable due to travelling between sites for development) - Good communication skills and telephone manner - Attention to detail Assessments As a part of your online application, you will need to complete gamified assessment challenges before we can consider your application for this position.
