Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative for their client based in Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a hybrid role, requiring employees to work and travel (when necessary) from both the Stoke and Burntwood sites.

The ideal candidate will enhance customer orders by providing superior service to internal and external stakeholders. The role involves working within the internal sales/commercial team to develop profitable sales of Stoke and Gradient solutions and products across various customer trade sectors, including Roofing & Cladding Contractors, Distributors & Merchants, System manufacturers, and the Specification market.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Main point of contact for incoming customer emails & requests, acting as a filter for pricing, service, & complaints, with support from management to ensure prompt response.
2. Provide customer quotations and prepare quotes for bespoke products with support from the commercial team.
3. Regularly call customers with offers and for customer care.
4. Process PODs, invoice requests, and complaints promptly, including follow-up actions.
5. Continuously improve sales processes and procedures.
6. Organize and send literature and general communications aligned with business updates.
7. Assist with project inquiries and bookings using MS Teams and CRM systems.
8. Maintain automated systems and collaborate with hauliers to ensure optimal service.
9. Manage stock orders and communication with internal and external suppliers.
10. Support RAM/ASMs to deliver excellent service and engage in daily customer calls.
11. Assist the Commercial Manager with queries and reports.
12. Provide interim support to the technical help desk when applicable.


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1. Timely processing of customer inquiries, quotations, and orders.
2. Prompt response and resolution of customer queries and complaints.
3. Regular updates and adjustments of Gradient customer price lists based on cost changes or commercial adjustments.


HOURS AND SALARY

This role starts in June on a temporary basis, working Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

The position offers a weekly paid role with a salary of £27,000.
