Delivery Management System Co-ordinator - Hinkley Point

Role Purpose
To ensure the efficient booking of vehicles to site to ensure the receipt, dispatch, and tracking of goods and materials across the project site maintaining accurate records and facilitating smooth logistics operations in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
* Complete and up-to-date logging of all received goods, including permanent materials, in the inventory management system.
* Ensure delivery notes, packing lists, and invoices are correctly prepared and matched to incoming and outgoing shipments.
* Ensure timely and accurate booking of delivery slots via the Fulcrum Booking System and HPC VMS, including arrangements for escort vehicles and special unloading requirements.
* Ensure clear communication to all relevant stakeholders regarding equipment received on site and its exact delivery location.
* Monitor and report on contractor compliance with the Delivery Management System (DMS) processes.
* Process documentation of day-to-day DMS operator issues and logistics-related queries.
* Ensure seamless coordination with procurement, off-site logistics, material controllers, on-site materials movements teams, building teams, and configuration areas to ensure efficient goods movement.
* Handle maintenance and development of logistics system integrations, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
* Handle collection and reporting of feedback from hauliers, contractors, and DMS users to improve logistics processes and stakeholder relationships.
Who we're looking for
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within a construction, industrial, or logistics environment.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
* Proficiency in using computerised systems to track inventory, generate reports, and manage stock levels.
* Good understanding of the hire industry is beneficial.
* Good understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, purchasing, and logistics.
* Knowledge of how materials flow through the supply chain and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
* Basic understanding of UK health and safety legislation and regulations related to plant, tools and equipment used throughout the project lifecycle for compliance and safety.
* Good eye for detail.
* Able to obtain a security clearance.
