Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards
* Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
* Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
* Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service
* Implement training programmes for new hires focusing on hospitality, food safety, and service excellence
* Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
* Supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development
* Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous
