Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people's health and wellbeing through sport and physical activity? We are seeking an enthusiastic community sports coach to deliver a range of engaging sessions designed to get individuals of all ages and abilities more active across the East Riding.

About the Role:
As a community sports coach, you will plan and deliver a range of fun and engaging sessions in various community settings such as schools, beaches, leisure centres, and village halls. Your work will involve working across a range of funded programmes, including:
* Healthier Schools: Delivering fun, active and educational sessions within primary and inclusive schools.
* Positive Lifestyles: Planning and delivering activities for young people to reduce anti-social behaviour, build confidence, and promote physical activity.
* Promoting Independence, Inspire and Community Sessions: Delivering activities for adults, older people, vulnerable groups and those living with a long term condition.
* Active Coast: Leading a variety of sessions, such as beach sports, multi-sports, outdoor and nature and activity camps.
* Additional Duties: Developing session plans, completing participant registrations and health and safety checks, and recording session feedback.
Requirements:
We are looking for individuals who believe in the power of physical activity to improve health and wellbeing. Ideal candidates will have:
* A flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to delivering sport and physical activities.
* A Level 2 qualification in sport.
* Recent (within the last 3 years) safeguarding and emergency first aid qualifications.
* Experience in delivering activities across various settings such as schools, leisure centres, and community venues.
* Experience working with diverse groups including children, young people, families, adults, vulnerable individuals.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Flexibility to work daytime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
* A full driving license and be over 18 years old.
