Nigel Wright Group has been appointed exclusively, to support a North East tier 1 automotive supplier, with the recruitment of a business development manager to focus on expanding its customer base with large automotive OEMs across Europe.
Role Profile:
* Progressing initial interactions that have taken place with prospective OEM automotive manufacturers and developing them into tangible commercial opportunities.
* Building broader relationships with key contacts in OEMs (both technical and financial decision makers) and introducing relevant technical colleagues into conversations required.
* Leading the sales cycle and owning the end to end commercial process.
Person Specification:
* Preference for automotive experience, selling into OEMs.
* Dont need to have owned the entire sale cycle, as long as you have been part of a commercial team and process.
* Experienced candidates at this level, as well as those taking a step up to the next level would be considered.
* Slightly different sectors with similar style sale cycles and commercial relationships will be considered.
* Flexibility for some travel for meetings. Circa one to two F2F meetings per month.
* Commutable to the North East site on a day to day basis.
