Control Room & Security Systems Manager
Based West London, to £75K + Bonus + Benefits Package
We are recruiting a senior Control Room & Security Systems Manager to lead and shape a technically advanced, high-profile estate security operation
This is not a traditional control room management role focused solely on supervision or shift oversight. This position sits at the intersection of operational command, technical system governance and strategic security leadership
You will be responsible not only for leading a 24/7 control room function, but for owning the standards, systems, governance frameworks and assurance mechanisms that underpin it
This role requires professional gravitas, technical credibility and demonstrable experience designing and strengthening security operations within complex, high-footfall environments. This is a role for someone who has shaped and strengthened a control room environment — not simply managed one
The Rol
e
* Provide strategic leadership of a 24/7 control room operation
* Own the governance, standards and assurance framework for the function
* Oversee CCTV, access control and incident management systems at configuration and compliance level
* Work directly with system integrators, engineers and internal technical teams
* Ensure full audit readiness, GDPR compliance and evidential integrity
* Develop and elevate team capability, standards and behaviours
* Represent the security function with senior internal and external stakeholder

Technical & Systems Oversigh
t
* Administration or configuration oversight of CCTV and/or access control systems beyond day-to-day monitoring
* Working alongside integrators and engineers on system configuration, upgrades, testing and fault resolution
* Ownership of Incident Management Systems (IMS) and structured reporting frameworks
* Audit readiness and compliance oversight within a control room environmen

Policy, Governance & Complianc
e
* Writing and owning control room SOPs, escalation models and assurance processes
* Developing policy and governance frameworks aligned to organisational and regulatory standards (not solely operational procedures)
* Demonstrable understanding of GDPR, ICO expectations and evidential data handling requirements
* Embedding review cycles, compliance mechanisms and measurable standard

* Designing, developing or transforming a control room or security operation
* Establishing performance standards, behavioural frameworks and capability models
