About the Role

We are seeking a focused Process Engineer with strong technical grounding in chemical engineering principles to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our facility.
Key Responsibilities
Process Design & Optimisation
* Design and deliver process improvement programs for Active Ingredients / Formulation Fill & Pack capital projects.
* Maximise capital and operating cost efficiencies while maintaining HSE excellence.
* Support plant operations with technical troubleshooting.
Technical Leadership
* Provide specialist process engineering expertise to project teams and production managers.
* Act as process owner for assigned manufacturing areas.
Continuous Improvement
* Challenge established processes and identify improvement opportunities.
* Take part in cross-functional manufacturing support teams.
* Deliver scientific work programs safely and efficiently across sites.
Collaboration
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and Quality.
* Engage with global functions to share and adopt best practices.
Essential Requirements
Education
* Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
* Working towards or holding Chartered Engineering status (CEng).
Experience
* 2+ years of practical process engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
* Experience in capital project or change execution.
Technical Skills
* Strong theoretical and practical chemical engineering knowledge.
* Competence with process simulation and design tools.
* Experience with HSE risk assessment methodologies (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.).
Desirable Skills
* Experience in agrochemical or specialty chemical manufacturing.
* Familiarity with batch processing operations.
* Project management experience.
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (DSEAR, COMAH, PER, etc.).
