Description You will ensure that marketing and communication plans are aligned to the business line’s strategy and responsive to key market drivers and opportunities. Your marketing activities will be designed to drive growth and deliver commercial impact in our high priority growth segments, and you will ensure that global, regional and country-level campaigns are successfully delivered, optimised and analysed against targets set. In addition, you will work with your business line teams to deliver internal communications. Required skills and experience Marketing Strategy & Planning Previous experience in a B2B services marketing role Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Life Sciences sectors preferred Ability to develop aligned marketing strategies based on commercial priorities. Strategic planning skills for defining integrated annual marketing and communications plans. Strong understanding of segmentation, value propositions, and market differentiation. Marketing Execution & Project Management Project management skills for delivering marketing activities on time and within budget. Ability to coordinate multi-channel campaigns (global, regional, and local). Experience managing internal and external stakeholders. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Experience using key marketing platforms – e.g. CRM systems, HTML email, website CMS Good Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel Experience in Adobe creative suite a plus, but not essential Excellent attention to detail Happy to travel to different locations to spend time on-site with our teams (you will still have hybrid working flexibility) Digital Marketing Expertise Proven experience in SEO (on-page optimisation, technical SEO updates, keyword research). PPC campaign management (Google Ads or equivalent) preferred. Ability to analyse campaign performance and extract actionable insights. Experience with KPI tracking, reporting dashboards, and ROI optimisation. Content Development & Communications Ability to create high-quality marketing content and communications. Experience developing targeted messaging for specific markets and customer segments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience producing internal communications. comfortable building good working relationships with a range of marketing and non-marketing stakeholders ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As the Marketing Manager for ECA C&P Pharmaceutical Services, you will be working closely with our pharma business line teams (UK and Switzerland) to plan and deliver marketing activities supporting their key commercial priorities. You will manage the creation and delivery of effective campaigns and define and create new content and communications related to any market developments and additional support requests from the business line teams. You will define the marketing plans for the upcoming year with support and input from the Commercial Director, Pharmaceutical Services, C&P Marketing Director ECA and C&P Business Line Leader. Marketing strategy – working collaboratively with your business line to understand their commercial priorities and creating an aligned marketing strategy, which helps their BL to grow profitably and sustainably. Marketing planning – defining an appropriate calendar of integrated marketing and communications activity and campaigns, which will help to achieve business line commercial objectives. Marketing activity must focus on building awareness and positive sentiment with key target segments and clients, clearly differentiate Intertek in our target market(s) and generating sufficient high-quality leads (with a strong conversion rate from lead to opportunity). Marketing delivery and project management – ensuring planned marketing activity is delivered on time and within agreed budgets to optimise the impact, results and return on investment of campaigns. Digitally enabled – making sure we take a ‘digital first’ approach and campaigns and content are optimised; for example, regular SEO updates to owned website pages, implementing PPC campaigns to drive lead generation, refining social media activity and implementing A/B testing and automation/drip campaigns. Continuous improvement – ensuring a laser focus is always retained on the performance of campaigns and activity, implementing improvements to optimise marketing results, and sharing best practice insights with other marketing colleagues. Keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and PPC and proactively implementing any necessary changes. Market and competitor insight – monitor and identify key market trends which could present opportunities and/or threats for your business line and sharing these with your BL teams in a timely manner. CRM and systems – work to support best practice use across the marketing team and business line teams. Analysis and reporting – proactive monitoring of lead generation results during and after campaigns and continuously for ongoing activity; analysing results to gain actionable insights to inform and improve future marketing; and reporting on marketing performance to business line stakeholders and marketing colleagues with actionable insights and continuous improvement. ECA/Global collaboration – working collaboratively with marketers around the world on joint campaigns, or collaborative projects where they bring value to your BL stakeholders (e.g. delivering content and assets collaborative promotion, etc).
