AIT Harness Engineer
Guildford - OnsiteUp to £48/hour Outside IR35
SC Cleared/Clearable required
We are seeking an experienced Harness Technician to join a spacecraft AIT team supporting the manufacture and integration of flight harnesses and test cables for advanced satellite programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture spacecraft flight harnesses and test cables
* Support harness routing, integration, and AIT activities
* Work to ECSS and high-reliability standards
* Support verification, testing, and issue resolution
* Liaise with engineering and systems teams
* Potential overseas travel support
Required Experience
* Hands-on harness/cable manufacturing experience within space, aerospace, or high-reliability industries
* Experience working with flight hardware and cleanroom environments preferred
* Strong electrical/mechanical understanding
* ESA Harness Certifications:
o ECSS-Q-ST-70-26
o ECSS-Q-ST-70-18
