Overview
Safran Electronics & Defense is a global high-technology group operating in aeronautics, space and defense. Safran Actuation Systems UK designs, manufactures and supports actuation and flight-control solutions used across commercial, military and rotary platforms. The UK sites include Wolverhampton and Banbury.
Responsibilities
* End-to-end analysis and data management of core Supply Chain metrics, including business savings/headwinds, supplier delivery performance and supplier quality.
* Condense large-scale Supply Chain analysis and present results to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
* De-risk and improve current reporting processes.
* Assess and articulate the financial impact of supply chain activities.
* Provide an agreed format of data analysis to drive evidence-based decision making for the customer.
* Liaise extensively with external or internal customers on all aspects of reporting.
Essential Qualifications
* Analytically skilled with the ability to interpret, challenge, and explain large and complex data sets.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
* Strong business acumen, with the ability to assess and articulate the financial impact of supply chain activities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present analysis to all levels of the organisation.
Desirable Qualifications
* Degree-level qualification in Business, Data Analytics, or other related discipline.
* Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Experience in automating or improving reporting processes within a supply chain or operational environment.
