Administrator (with HR responsibilities) - Full Time, Permanent Salary: Up to £28,000 + benefits Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We're supporting a highly respected organisation in their search for an Administrator to provide high-quality support across the business, with particular involvement in HR-related activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys variety and would like to gain experience in HR alongside general administration.
The Role
Working closely with the HR Director and wider management team, you'll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of administration processes, while also assisting with a range of HR tasks. This role will give you exposure to HR operations as well as broader business administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support, including handling correspondence, preparing documents, and managing records.
Assist with HR administration: maintaining employee files, updating HR systems, and preparing contracts and offer letters.
Support recruitment activities by posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
Help coordinate new starter onboarding and induction paperwork.
Produce reports and maintain logs for meetings, including agendas and minutes.
Provide support with payroll administration, ensuring employee information is accurate.
Assist in organising training sessions and supporting staff development initiatives.
Act as a first point of contact for general staff queries, escalating where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information.
A confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems.
Flexible, proactive, and committed to providing excellent support to colleagues.
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential. HR experience would be an advantage, but is not required - training and support will be provided.
