Overview
A leading developer is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Manager to take a key role on a major, high-profile residential-led development in London. This is a large-scale, complex scheme that will play a significant part in the wider regeneration of the area.
This position will suit someone who thrives on technically challenging projects and wants to be heavily involved from design through to delivery on a flagship development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the technical delivery of a large residential scheme from pre-construction through to completion
* Manage and coordinate the full design team including architects, engineers, and specialist consultants
* Oversee planning conditions, building regulations, and statutory approvals
* Ensure all technical information is issued in line with programme requirements
* Work closely with internal teams including commercial, construction, and planning
* Provide technical input during value engineering and design optimisation stages
* Identify and manage technical risks, driving solutions across the project lifecycle
* Support the site team throughout construction, ensuring buildability and compliance
Requirements
* Proven experience operating at Technical Manager or Senior Technical Manager level within residential development or housebuilding
* Track record of delivering large-scale, multi-unit residential schemes
* Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning processes, and technical standards
* Experience managing complex, multi-phase developments
* Ability to lead consultant teams and manage multiple stakeholders
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
