Role Description
This full-time, on-site role in Leeds involves leading and coordinating community service initiatives to ensure high-quality support for individuals. The Community Services Lead will engage in planning and overseeing community programs, managing relationships with local organizations, and addressing the needs of service users to promote community wellbeing. The role requires active engagement with team members, fostering effective communication, and handling customer service interactions to strengthen community connections.
Qualifications
* Proven experience and skills in Community Service and Community Outreach to support local initiatives and foster engagement.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals and organizations.
* Customer Service expertise to provide compassionate and effective support that meets the needs of diverse community members.
* Knowledge of health and social care services, particularly in the areas of mental health, learning disabilities, dementia, or elder care, is advantageous.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
* Bachelor's degree in social work, community development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
