MOSAIC Trainer – Children and Young People
Location: Halifax
Day Rate: £400 – £450 per day
Contract: 6–8 months, full-time (5 days per week)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mosaic Trainer to support the successful delivery, implementation, and adoption of the Mosaic system within Borough Council. The role spans across Children and Young People’s Services and Adult Services and Wellbeing, ensuring frontline staff are fully equipped and confident in using new workflows, tools, and recording models.
Working alongside Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the System Support Team, operational leads, and technical teams, you will design and deliver training that reflects statutory requirements and best practice, supporting the council’s Mosaic Implementation Programme.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver tailored Mosaic training to Children’s Services or Adult Social Care staff at all levels.
Design engaging training materials, guides, and e-learning content aligned with new workflows and system features.
Provide project team upskilling and “train the trainer” sessions.
Conduct training needs analysis across service areas to shape content and rollout plans.
Collaborate with SMEs and project leads to ensure training meets operational and statutory requirements.
Support with walk-throughs, drop-ins, and on-the-job guidance.
Maintain and update training materials based on system changes and user feedback.
Deliver training in line with phased rollout and go-live timelines.
Evaluate training effectiveness and collate feedback to improve delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience delivering IT or system training within social care or the wider public sector.
Strong understanding of Mosaic or similar case management systems.
Ability to communicate complex processes clearly and accessibly.
Skilled in developing both in-person and digital learning content.
