Overview:
A well-established and reputable law firm in Essex is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with a minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in litigation to take on a varied caseload and progress within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a broad range of litigation matters including:
* Personal Injury (RTA & EL)
* Commercial and Contract Disputes
* Employment Law
* Land and Boundary Issues
* Prepare and file legal documents including pleadings and applications.
* Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
* Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
* Negotiate settlements and maintain client relationships.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental growth.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a valid practising certificate.
* Proven experience in civil litigation.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage a substantial caseload and work both independently and within a team.
* A proactive approach and a good sense of humour are highly valued!
