Sr Finance Analyst
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst supporting our Basingstoke repair and overhaul site in the Basingstoke, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Reporting to the Regional ISC Finance Director, the senior finance analyst will develop a business partnership with the site leadership to improve product margins through constant review and analysis of potential cost reduction initiatives covering the repair and overhaul environment.
In addition, the role will work to achieve alignment across site functions including Integrated Supply Chain, HR and the Business in the achievement of targets and goals. It will provide data and analyses that will assist in the effort to reduce inventory, improve turnaround time, and labour efficiency. Work onsite

Key Responsibilities
1. Work with the site leadership team to deliver the annual operating plan and forecasts. Lead weekly site delivery reviews (open backlog, shipment plan, receipts forecasts).
2. Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on key financial information (OEF, indirect spend, freight) and provide variance explanations.
3. Prepare factory productivity reporting, lead cost center spend reviews and hold owners accountable for productivity projects.
4. Analyze variances between forecast and actual results for revenue and repair costs
5. Undertake regular review of the site cost structure including updates to cost and pricing rates used by the business. To assist in the annual standard cost revision exercise, inventory revaluation and standard maintenance.
6. To provide relevant information necessary to support the site SRO and SIOP processes. Develop standard work and SOPs relevant to the role
Must Have Skills
7. 3+ years of experience and financial skills in analysis, planning, forecasting and accounting.
8. Experience in Finance systems skills (Tableau, AMR, SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, other). Finance / accounting background with cost accounting experience
9. Experience with process standardization and standard work procedures.
10. Demonstrated time management skills and able to meet deadlines.
11. Able to work independently and make decisions. Experience working with virtual teams.
12. Ability to prepare and present seemingly complex data in a simple and understandable manner.
13. Self-motivated, bias for action, promotes positive attitude.
14. Strong English written communication and presentation skills covering both document preparation and verbal presentation.
15. Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with creative mindset.
16. Ability to build effective working relationships across business functions both locally and regionally.
17. Ability to think quickly and act with sense of urgency. Ability to influence and drive changes.
