Job Description:
Our national digital, tech and data team is growing. Representing FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients, public sector organisations, educational institutions, and industry bodies, we handle high-profile, business-critical projects and regulatory matters. The team collaborates with US colleagues on international transactions and projects, and works with other member firms worldwide to assist clients in the UK.
We seek a lawyer with 3+ to senior PQE to join the team.
What does the team do?
We advise on complex technology transactions, digital transformation, data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies like generative AI. You will collaborate with developers and suppliers, support our commercial and sector teams, and assist businesses in adopting digital technologies across various industries including manufacturing, energy, transport, and international trade.
You will be involved in all transaction aspects, including contract strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This role offers continuous learning, diversity, and support within a creative environment.
You will contribute to multi-jurisdictional projects, helping UK businesses expand into markets like the USA and Saudi Arabia, with opportunities for international secondments.

* At least 4 years of post-qualified experience in digital technology as a UK solicitor.
* Experience in a commercial environment focusing on digital/tech and/or data protection at a large firm or in-house.
