Description Early Help Advisor (SEND) | 9851 | 2 x Permanent Contract / 1x Secondment Opportunity / Temporary Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months | 37 hours per week | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum | Grade G | County Hall Children’s Services are seeking to recruit Early Help SEND Advisors based in the Partner & Community SEND and Inclusion Support Line Team. Are you patient and compassionate and able to listen and be curious? We need Early Help SEND Advisors who can liaise with services, families, and their networks to be the first step towards identifying the most appropriate support. The work can be complex, and no contact will be the same so being adaptable and flexible is key to the role. As an Early Help SEND Advisor, you will be triaging, providing information, advice and guidance on a wide range of services. Providing telephone responses, managing requests for support, as well as liaising with internal and external partners to support families ensuring the right support from the right source is provided to meet the family’s needs around Special Education Needs and Inclusion The role is office based through telephone and email communication, so experience of communicating verbally and in writing is essential. There is need for accurate case recording so the ability to follow process and use computer packages will be needed alongside excellent communication skills which will be essential to the role.
