Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 students in line with the national curriculum
2. Assess and evaluate student progress to provide feedback and support their learning development
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
4. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being
5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Enhanced DBS check
8. Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Postgraduate qualification in Education
13. Experience working in a multicultural school environment
Working Conditions:
This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis in a school setting. The teacher will be required to work collaboratively with other staff members and engage with students, parents, and external stakeholders.
