We are delighted to partner with our client, a highly regarded, established utilities business based Edinburgh City Centre.
The role of Senior Legal Advisor is both interesting and a very varied.
Key areas of responsibility include;
Providing high quality, accurate legal advice for the business, ensuring that regulatory and legal compliance is promoted and maintained across all departments.
The role is responsible for advising the Leadership team and key internal stakeholders on all legal obligations and providing guidance on all legal matters across the business.
The role is accountable for ensuring the business is aware of and prepared for changes or proposed changes in legislation that may have an impact.
Key accountabilities/tasks :
Manage relationship with external legal counsel and the company secretary, ensuring compliance with all company secretarial matters.
Work with the Head of Regulation, Compliance and Legal to influence the development of legislative, regulatory and market frameworks.
