About the Role
Our Senior Nursing Support Workers assist nursing staff to provide family‑centred and holistic support to children with life‑shortening conditions and their families. Compassion, care, laughter, and wonder are integral parts of the role.
Responsibilities
Provide support to nursing staff in delivering high‑quality care and emotional support to children and families. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the hospice setting.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children with complex care needs, or evidence of relevant experience (e.g., working with adults in palliative or hospice environments).
* Education to SVQ level 3 or HNC in Health, Social or Child Care, or equivalent experience.
