Key Responsibilities
* Design innovative robotic automation handling systems,
* Produce detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and rendered visuals to communicate designs effectively
* Cross‑functional collaboration from sales concept through to final finished product.
* Develop full technical documentation including specifications, risk assessments, BOMs, 2D part & assembly drawings, schematics etc.
* Apply DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFA (Design for Assembly) best practice
* Establish PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) best practices for version control.
* Work closely with electrical design & commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration
* Partner with suppliers to maintain quality standards and production readiness
* Contribute to product validation and compliance testing
What We Are Looking For
* Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
* 2+ years experience in mechanical design.
* Proficiency with Inventor (or equivalent CAD software).
* Desirable knowledge of the 2006/42/EC machinery directive.
* Knowledge of machined components welded fabrication & experience in sheet metal.
* Strong knowledge of materials, geometric dimensioning & tolerances and fastening systems.
* Proven ability to create accurate documentation and production packages with attention to detail.
* Experience managing projects end‑to‑end, including customer & supplier engagement and production oversight.
* Self‑motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
