We are currently seeking aBilling Specialistto join our dynamic Project Finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting ProPharma’s global billing operations by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, maintaining financial integrity, and delivering exceptional client service.
We are looking for candidates based anywhere in the UK and the position can be offered on a work from home basis. The role is full time and permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for assisting with monthly billing across various service lines within designated region.
* Add new clients, items, and pricing to billing system as requested via Client Services, Operations, or Business Development from executed SOWs.
* Update billing system with changes in pricing and budgets as directed by Client Services, Operations, or Business Development from signed SOWs on existing clients.
* Assist in m aintain ing complete and accurate invoicing records and provide support to supervisor .
* Process adjustment requests as approved by Operations and Client Services.
* Support other entities within ProPharma, as capacity allows.
* Assist with preparation of month-end / year-end financial statements and budgets as they pertain to the above responsibilities.
* Assist with year-end financial audits as needed.
* Provide assistance and billing detail support to the Collections organization as part of collection activities for assigned customers.
* Track purchase order balances and communicate with Business Development when action is needed.
Qualifications and Experience
* At least 1 year of billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations experience, preferably in a professional services or life sciences environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Proficiency with financial systems (Workday preferred) and MS Excel.
* Ability to interpret client contracts and billing agreements.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
* Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
