We are looking for someone to join our Gut Health revolution and help us continue our mission to make the benefits of Gut Health universally accessible.
The Role
This channel-leading role is responsible for growing our business across a portfolio of UK Convenience & New Business customers. There is potential to move into a Sales Controller role as the channel develops.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
1. Full accountability for creating and delivering against a BIC Channel strategy.
2. Full multi-million £ Channel P&L responsibility: Booker, Co-op Societies, NISA, SPAR, plus new business areas including Forecourts.
3. Wholesale C&C (Booker, Bestway) with potential to scope new business across wider wholesale.
4. Create, negotiate & execute win/win JBPs, through new listings, distribution, and market-leading execution.
5. Lead multi-functional retailer engagement, particularly Category, Supply & Shopper Marketing.
6. Launch transformational product innovation, specifically for the Convenience channel.
7. Best in class day-to-day account management.
8. Effective cross-functional collaboration.
The Candidate
We are looking for a strong relationship builder, with a track record of delivering growth within the UK Convenience & Impulse channels. Ideally operating at a Senior NAM level, the candidate should seek a role offering true ownership & accountability, with potential to progress to Controller level as the business develops.
* 10+ years of experience working with the UK retail market, with Convenience/Wholesale experience (essential).
* Experience in branded fresh, chilled, or dairy categories is desired but not essential.
* Experience of working with & leading cross-functional teams (category, shopper marketing, operations).
* Thrives in an ambitious and fast-paced environment.
* Entrepreneurial, creative mindset.
* Strong commercial acumen & negotiation skills.
* Effective networker and relationship builder.
