Overview

Samsung’s Omni Channel Marketing team is committed to activating the best execution for all MX products (mobile, tablet, wearables, audio, computing and accessories). This role defines and controls what consumers “see”, “feel” and “hear” about Samsung MX product & services within our Channel partners. The Omni Channel Marketing team for MX leads channel partner marketing relationships and end-to-end execution across all owned and paid touchpoints, across B2C accounts including Operators, MVNOs, Retailers, Distributors and Sim Free Pure Player channels, encompassing paid ATL, retail, below the line retention initiatives and Contact Centre share of business. Our channel partner success in ranging, promoting and launching our MX portfolio is central to our work. By commercialising marketing, delivering execution leadership and driving innovation, we defend Samsung’s stronghold in the UK market.


Role And Responsibilities

* Work with the channel account team (Account Director and Account Manager) to plan and complete multiple product launches.
* Complete quarterly promotional plans to achieve a high share of voice across the channel customer journey (TTL).
* Deliver brand, commercial and channel objectives (with a specific focus on sell-out) with our agencies and channel partners.
* Collaborate on special projects and joint business plan initiatives with channels to drive longer-term growth of SEUK channel performance.
* Budget management and handling spend within channels, including effective management of marketing accruals tied to channel commercial terms contracts.
* Digital excellence using the Samsung Digital Blueprint, ensuring channels adhere to blueprint standards and evolving digital touchpoints, with ongoing reporting and optimisation.
* Ensure internal marketing processes are followed prior to committing any spend.
* Deliver timely reports including quarterly marketing plans, execution compliance and budget reviews & analysis.
* Analyse post-launch/campaign results to shape future activities with actionable recommendations.
* Track competitor activities to maintain strong SOV, execution leadership and unique points of difference across channels.
* Organise and participate in weekly/monthly/quarterly marketing planning meetings with channel partners where appropriate.


What We Need For This Role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

* Marketing background, ideally with experience in a vendor, retailer, network operator or agency in a similar role.
* People management experience and strong leadership.
* Experience across the marketing mix – ATL and BTL.
* Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
* Commercial ability to produce marketing plans, business cases and ROI on marketing spend.
* Familiar with handling significant marketing budgets.

* Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills with solid presentation abilities.
