Drainage Engineer / Drainage Technician – Guildford, Surrey
Salary: £36,000 – £47,000 + commission available.

A Guildford‑based company is looking for a self‑motivated, accountable, professional, and skilled Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, servicing clients across London and the South of the UK.

Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in drainage works (essential)
* Full clean driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Carry out CCTV drain surveys and provide clear reports.
* Diagnose issues across foul water and fresh water systems.
Undertake Repairs Including
* No‑dig solutions (resin lining/patching)
* Excavation and dig‑down repairs
* Install inspection chambers and route new pipework.
* Identify issues and recommend solutions to customers.
* Upsell additional works where appropriate.
* Complete detailed job reports and survey documentation.
* Liaise with the office daily, updating on progress.
* Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a high standard.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Strong drainage experience, including CCTV surveys
* Knowledge of no‑dig repair techniques (resin lining, etc.)
* Experience with excavation and pipe installation
* A proactive, can‑do attitude
* Confidence speaking with customers and identifying sales opportunities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good written English and reporting skills
* Strong problem‑solving ability
