Richmond upon Thames College is looking for a woodwork technician to join their carpentry team in their new STEM building based in Twickenham.
The Post Holder must be qualified to level 3 in carpentry, professional, competent and experienced in use of workshop machinery and working to requested specifications for both site and bench joinery.
This is a full time role and the Post Holder will be working mainly with 16-18 year old students and carpentry apprentices. Post Holders will be expected to work to supporting and assisting staff in the workshop area and in the classroom, when required, be enthusiastic, have good communication skills and be able to work to deadlines.
This role is full time, 36 hours for 52 weeks per year.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and developed a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre in September 2024.
