Assistive Technology Officer (Older Persons Service) Grade 4, Salary £26,403 up to £29,540 per annum pro rata, plus essential car user allowance of £850 per annum pro rata and standby and emergency call out rota payments 37 hours per week, flexible working hours may be considered including job share, permanent contact Participation is required for call out rota covering 24 hours over a week period on a rota basis The Older Persons Service delivers a wide range of services to older people living across the Hinckley & Bosworth borough. We are looking to recruit an Assistive Technology Officer to enable us to continue delivering excellent services to our community. Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the lifeline and assistive technology elements of the Older Persons Service, duties will include managing stock, increasing the take up of assistive technologies through promotion and marketing and installation of equipment in residents homes. The ideal candidate will: Be experienced working with the public Provide excellent standards of customer service Be IT literate using computer software and able to demonstrate Work well in a team and on own initiative Be prepared to work out of hours on a rota basis Be prepared to work independently with lone working As the role involves work throughout the borough, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential. You will also be required to undertake a criminal record check. We operate a hybrid working model with a mix of office based, home and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations in the borough.
