WB Power Services (WBPS) is expanding, and we’re on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our Hire Division. You’ll play a vital role in delivering reliable power to high-profile events, construction sites, and critical infrastructure across the region.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for the preparation, set up and installation of generator equipment on customer sites. Working closely with our Hire and Projects teams, you’ll ensure each installation runs smoothly, safely, and on time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Installing and commissioning temporary power systems at festivals, construction sites, sporting events, and more
* Carrying out site surveys, load assessments, and ensuring safety standards are met
* Completing electrical connections, cable runs, and load testing
* Troubleshooting and resolving on-site installation challenges
* Supporting customers by delivering operational guidance and training
* Maintaining accurate service records and installation reports
* Representing WBPS in a professional, customer-focused manner
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified electrician with a recognised electrical certification (e.g. 18th Edition – EAL or C&G)
* 2391 Inspection & Testing is desirable but not essential
* Hands-on experience in electrical installation and diagnostics
* Willingness to travel across the region and stay away from home when needed
* A strong communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role
