Senior Vehicle Technician Needed in Warwickshire
1. Salary: Basic salary between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience (overtime potential + bonus)
2. Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota)
3. Benefits: 24 days holiday + bank holiday, Overtime paid at time and a half + productivity bonus, Pension & sick pay scheme.
Our client is a customer-focused, professional independent garage renowned for delivering excellent customer service. They are expanding and looking to hire skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic workshop team.
What You'll Be Doing as a Senior Vehicle Technician with Our Client:
4. Maintain quality standards delivered from the workshop carrying out quality checks as required
5. Carry out Vehicle Health Checks
6. Evaluate Vehicle Health Checks for accuracy, clarity and requirement for additional work.
7. Undertake general servicing, repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
8. Mentor junior workshop team members to improve technical capability and performance.
9. Support performance evaluations of the Technical Team
10. Lead technical diagnosis and fault resolution.
What's Required from You? Our client expects from their Vehicle Technician:
11. NVQ, IMI, ATA, or City & Guilds (C&G) Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is ideal, but not essential.
12. Sufficient hands-on experience in a workshop environment; we seek technicians ready to hit the ground running.
13. A valid UK driving license.
14. Must be friendly, dynamic, hard-working, passionate, and reliable.
15. Applications are welcomed from skilled technicians from both independent garage and main dealer backgrounds.
