We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical)
to join our engineering team within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting site performance and continuous improvement.

12-hour 3 day (Continental Rotation)

Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance
* Responding to internal customer priorities to meet production targets and minimise operational downtime
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with company safe working practices, including risk assessments and HSE regulations
* Understanding and working to company performance standards at all times
* Accurately recording all maintenance activity within Agility CMMS
* Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the introduction of new working practices
* Supporting the site Project Team as required
* Attending all necessary internal and external training courses in line with business needs
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and technically capable engineer with strong fault‑finding skills and experience in a manufacturing setting.
Essential and desirable criteria include:
* Time‑served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline (minimum Level 3)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
* Experience of preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment
* Proven ability to work effectively in a busy manufacturing environment
* Well,‑developed analytical, fault‑finding, and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic (fluid power) systems
* Knowledge of electromechanical systems, with an understanding of control systems, PLCs, and automation being advantageous
* Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics
* Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
