Your responsibilities as site‑based Mechanical Engineer
* Install, service and repair high‑precision 5 axis CNC machine tools
* Diagnose faults and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
* Assemble, dismantle and set up large mechanical assemblies
* Support customers with breakdown response and corrective maintenance
* Carry out planned maintenance to maximise machine performance and reliability
* Work on customer sites across varying industrial environments
What we’re looking for in a site‑based Mechanical Engineer
* Previous experience working on CNC milling machine tools
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability on complex machinery
* Background within machine tool build or industrial maintenance environments
* Experience working within a field service or customer‑facing engineering role
* Ability to work on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical assemblies
Working hours: Basic weekly hours 37.5. Typical working week 45 hours including overtime. Day shift only.
