Are you a dynamic and experienced leader looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patient care and service delivery? We are seeking a Planned Care Directorate Manager to join our leadership team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg.
This pivotal role will provide strategic, performance, and planning management for the Trauma and Orthopaedic Service within Planned Care.
Responsibilities
* Strategic, planning, and performance management, including service demand and capacity, planning, resource utilisation, and modernisation.
* Work to ensure the achievement of waiting time targets and other key performance measures whilst driving continuous improvements in patient access and care.
* Support across specialities for workforce, finance and performance delivery in partnership with clinical and multidisciplinary leads.
* Operational and performance management, service quality and planning, resource use and modernisation.
* Leadership, direction and financial control of services in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Head of Nursing, contributing to the delivery of strategic and operational service objectives set by the Board and the Health Board Executives.
Welsh Language
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
