Overview
We are seeking a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join our urology team in Ward 27.
Responsibilities
* Carry out duties for patients, carers and relatives in support of and supervised by the Registered Nurses.
* Work as part of the multidisciplinary team with good communication skills.
* Inform and assist patients within a caring environment; undertake any training necessary to meet role demands.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a caring environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Willing to undertake any training necessary to meet the demands of the role.
* Will comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
Employment Details
* Hours of work: 37 hours per week. Shift patterns include day and night shifts (11.50 hours per shift).
* Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker role in Ward 27.
