What We Offer
* Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 per annum
* Remote/hybrid working
* Great benefits
* Opportunities for professional growth and development
* A supportive and inclusive work culture
What We’re Looking For
In this role, you’ll support the Data Protection Officer at WorkNest People, monitoring internal compliance, providing clear and timely guidance to teams across the business, and coordinating information for important assessments. You’ll be a friendly and approachable first point of contact for data protection queries, support the handling of data subject access requests, and help maintain accurate records of processing activities. You’ll also review and update privacy notices and policies, manage due diligence requests, monitor e‑learning compliance, and support assessments, including DPIAs and legitimate interest assessments.
About You
You have a genuine interest in data protection and a curiosity to learn more about European data protection legislation and compliance. You bring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and administrative skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively when managing competing demands. You act with integrity and discretion, communicate clearly and professionally, and are confident working both independently and as part of a team. A proactive mindset and strong analytical skills will help you approach challenges with confidence, while a commitment to continuous learning ensures you stay up to date with evolving regulations and best practice.
While a recognised privacy or data protection qualification (such as CIPP/E or a Foundation/Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection) or a legal background would be an advantage, it’s not essential. We’re equally interested in your potential and enthusiasm to grow.
