We have a fantastic opportunity for Quality Control Auditor in Glasgow.
As a Quality Control Auditor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards across our claims handling processes, with a particular focus on leakage, compliance, and customer outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be auditing claim files to ensure they align with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and FCA guidelines.
You’ll review case files for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to best practices—identifying trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. When issues arise, you’ll use your technical knowledge and confident communication skills to challenge decisions and support corrective actions.
A key part of your role involves liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders to clarify file content, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that all parties are aligned on expectations and outcomes. Your ability to build constructive, professional relationships will be essential in driving continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a methodical approach, and a passion for upholding high standards. You’ll be confident in challenging assumptions, committed to regulatory compliance, and motivated by the opportunity to enhance both individual and team performance.
The Skills You Will Have When You Apply
* In-depth technical expertise: You’ll need to possess solid, demonstrable knowledge of building construction, design intricacies, and defect diagnostics, with hands-on experience in property repairs—whether from a claims handling background or a contractor role.
* Digital proficiency: You must be adept with core IT tools—particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word—ensuring confident, efficient digital communication and documentation.
* Analytical mindset: A proactive, methodical approach to identifying and resolving complex issues is essential, with a readiness to act decisively and independently.
* Exceptional communicator: You’ll bring clarity and precision to both written and spoken communication, adapting your tone and style to suit diverse audiences and contexts.
