The Role
The purpose of the Assistant Project Manager role is to deliver programme support across all projects in the Customer Experience department.
Role Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Customer Experience Operations and Head of Customer Experience Quality and Development to deliver a range of projects, by applying robust project lifecycle methodologies, implementing the project plans, scheduling of all tasks, key milestones and resource management to ensure these are completed safely to time, cost and quality.
* Maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively across the organisation and our delivery partners by supporting cross‑departmental working groups/project teams and sub‑committees to ensure an aligned approach to, and effective delivery of, the programme objectives.
* Provide support to the Customer Experience Team to ensure a high quality, effective service is delivered to customers, partners and stakeholders when engaging with the business, facilitating a continuously improving customer experience.
* Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and meet contract and service‑specific requirements.
* Provide a professional and effective programme and project management service, including project governance, reporting, technical working groups and executive steering groups, in accordance with the required processes and timelines to ensure the projects are aligned to TfW processes and delivered to cost and quality.
* Following up with stakeholders to understand their needs, setting up, and taking minutes during, project meetings, coordination of project tasks, and preparing and maintaining project documents and reports.
* Monitor project progress, follow up with stakeholders and provide regular reports to a variety of business and project stakeholders.
* Support the Head of Customer Experience Operations to identify and monitor program and project risks, including financial, reputational, quality, environmental and health and safety, collaborating with the appropriate TfW risk professionals and managing the risk register to ensure TfW can implement effective mitigation. Provide documentation support to ensure that we have identified risk mitigation measures and have the appropriate project governance.
Who We’re Looking For
* Relevant degree such as Business, Planning, (or similar) or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience of supporting the delivery of projects.
* Previous experience of delivering outstanding customer experience in a customer facing environment (such as contact centre, retail, hospitality).
* Experience of administering project management documentation including project action trackers, programmes, project reporting, risk and issue processes.
Welsh Language Skills
