Role & Responsibilities
The Workshop Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and testing a wide range of electrical, mechanical and rigging equipment. Supporting workshop operations by ensuring accurate stock control and repair tracking while coordinating both in-house and external repairs. The Workshop Technician will work closely with engineering, inventory and management teams to communicate repair status. They will manage equipment lifecycle decisions and uphold safety and risk control measures that contribute to a smooth, reliable repair process to keep equipment available, cost-effective, and fit for use.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be driven to achieve and maintain the highest quality service standards with the ability to learn in-house asset management systems. They should demonstrate a positive, adaptable approach to the business and possess strong communication skills. Basic knowledge of electronic theory is essential. Experience in fault-finding and electrical repairs including three-phase and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings (CAD) is desirable. Knowledge of TV lighting industry is a plus.

This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour working week, between the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm.We offer a competitive salary with the opportunity to earn overtime.
