Team/Role Overview
Citi's Internal Audit (IA) division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and Citi’s numerous regulators globally. IA is a change agent within Citi to enhance the control culture of Citigroup worldwide and thereby support senior management decision making around the globe.
This is an opportunity to join the Research Labs team within Citi IA, responsible for supporting the implementation of the department’s Strategy and designing key strategic capabilities to shape the future of the function. We are seeking a versatile and experienced process and visual design expert, able to bridge business needs with innovative technology and data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate on topics across the audit lifecycle to synthesise requirements, perform research, design streamlined business processes and data-driven solutions, and build technical prototypes for evaluation and wider rollout.
What you will do
1. Act as a subject matter expert within the Research Labs team with a focus on process re-engineering, UI and UX design related activities
2. Lead workshops and engage with auditors, managers and senior leadership to understand pain points and capture the right requirements
3. Illustrate user journeys and the look and feel of the user experience through process flows and visual mock-ups
4. Work with data and technology specialists to build prototypes to validate and test your design
5. Gather feedback, iterate, and get to the root of auditor challenges to design solutions that are as engaging, insightful and intuitive as possible
6. Work with technology teams to derive technology specifications and assess feasibility and sustainability of broad implementation in the IA and Citi technology landscape
7. Understand and adhere to Citi Branding guidelines to create an experience consistent with Bank standards
8. Develop subject area expertise in the department, act as an advisor and champion for best practice and innovation
What we will need from you
9. Previous experience in a relevant business process and/or visual design-oriented role
10. Previous experience of process re-engineering, UI and UX design
11. Background in Data Analytics
12. Creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills
13. Advanced proficiency with visual and process design tooling/techniques including prototyping, wireframing, process maps and visualization
14. Understanding of risk management practices and audit process is a plus
15. Proven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables
16. Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
17. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
18. Effective project management skills
19. Effective relationship management and negotiation skills
Education
20. Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
