Role Overview
As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in collecting, transforming, and analyzing financial and transactional data. You’ll build ETL pipelines, automate reporting processes, and collaborate across departments to deliver actionable insights. This is a hands-on role that blends technical expertise with strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, clean, and coordinate financial data from databases, spreadsheets, and software systems
* Write and maintain Python scripts for data extraction and automation
* Develop and manage ETL pipelines using Python
* Automate data ingestion from APIs, flat files, and third-party systems
* Analyze financial trends, patterns, and anomalies
* Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements
* Improve financial processes and ensure data integrity
* Stay current with industry trends and best practices
Required Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in BI, Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities
* High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
* Experience in the gaming industry is a plus
Technical Requirements
* Advanced/Expert in Excel
* Advanced in Power BI or similar BI tools
* Advanced in SQL
* Intermediate/Advanced in Python (pandas, sklearn)
* Nice to have: IBM Planning Analytics
