Your Future Team:
Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager North & South West, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that Rockfon products and systems are the products of choice within the UK construction market by building on existing relationships as well as developing new relationships with various stakeholders including specifiers, acousticians, design managers etc.
What you will be doing:
1. Building and maintaining sustainable working relationships with clients in keeping with ROCKWOOL Group’s core values.
2. Promoting the Rockfon brand to target groups.
3. Planning and prioritising personal technical sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs, sales and profitability via the CRM database Rocksell.
4. Working collaboratively with Area Sales Managers to realise the potential of ongoing and future projects.
5. Working closely with the Technical Services Team to ensure efficient and timely follow up of calculation requests and technical information.
6. Presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Delivering CPD’s to customers as required to gain understanding and support for Rockfon products.
8. Sharing knowledge and information of newly identified opportunities within the commercial team to develop profitable business.
9. Promoting and selling the technical details of the Rockfon product range while understanding legislation and its impact.
10. Carrying out market research while maintaining competitor awareness.
11. Maintaining a pipeline of ongoing projects via the CRM system Rocksell.
What you bring:
12. Proven track record providing support to commercial activity within the building/construction industry
13. Existing relationships within the relevant target groups
14. Understanding of the construction sales process and an ability to engage correctly with relevant stakeholders
15. Previous experience in Specification selling
16. Good working knowledge of current building regulations
17. IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages and CRM Systems
18. Capable of understanding Technical Drawings
19. Ability to provide technical solutions to meet customer requirements
20. Independently takes action to realise opportunities for selling products/services
21. Effective and persuasive communicator
22. Effective planner and organiser
