* As well as production, this role will include some on air reporting.
* Some travel may be required.

You will have initiative, excellent editorial judgement and organisational skills and proudly “own” stories, communicating well to all outlets.
* You will be passionate about reaching new audiences and will have a detailed understanding of formats across all platforms.
* Digital skills and subbing experience are important, as is experience of writing, producing and reporting for television and radio.
* This is a logistically complex role, working with individuals across different bases and you will need to be full of enthusiasm for working with different teams to bring the best journalism to our audiences.
* Detailed knowledge of the BBC’s editorial and social media guidelines and experience of complex stories is essential.
* Open-source research and data journalism skills would be desirable.

If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
